Our U.S. President, a victim? What!?!

“It isn't over until it's over”. We can reclaim our checks and balances. We can use our moral compass! If we can find enough MAGA followers who do not want to be condemned for the way they allowed our U.S. Constitution to literally fold up. The MAGA followers do not fear losing their family name or even the judgment of history or facing a just God. We need and still have the ability to bring back checks and balances, due process and the rule of law. MAGA followers can join up with Independents and Democrats to get our political purpose back to supporting the U.S. Constitution under checks and balances.

Is the U.S. Treasury and the world his piggy bank?

FIRST, LET'S RETURN TO THE BEGINNING

Remember the U.S Constitution was created by 55 Founding Fathers in Philadelphia in 1787 to correct the weaknesses in the Articles of Confederation. The Founders were successful farmers, lawyers, physicians, merchants and George Washington and Ben Franklin often stole the show. They were “well read, well wed and well fed.” These men were not angels, but they were different in their use of power and money. They had a spirituality that is very difficult to define. In fact, their power and money was put at risk by their creation of the U.S. Constitution. They were searching for a document to obtain a more perfect union, entrusted to the people. Now 238 years later that very noble and practical document is now stressed, needing the help of American patriots.

Does the current power structure in America made up of the president, SCOTUS, Project 2025, Fox News pundits, CPAC, MAGA Senators and MAGA Congressmen, and finally Christian Nationalists, put in force what appears to be an abandonment of that great legal document? They want tax cuts for the rich and to get rid of many of our Institutions. They seem to be getting behind a selfish leader, a money grubber, and a false God. Is there any way we can change course? Sure! Remember the Biblical expression: “The truth will make you free”. The Bible also said, quoting Saint Peter, “honor your government and pay your taxes.” A rebirth and a re-establishment of our great checks and balances outlined in that U.S Constitution can still be had. We must promote MAGA followers to look in the mirror and muster up the courage to keep our due process, our laws, and our honor and decency in force. Are we no longer the leader of the free world? Ask yourself this question: how in the heck is President Donald Trump going to celebrate our 250^th year since the creation of the Declaration of Independence? Especially when he makes it clear there is nothing in that document for freedom that he believes is important to his style of governance. He is the first American president to be so cruel and unusual. He says, “I’m the boss, everyone falls in line!” He wants America to be run more like the Russian style than the traditional American way.

THAT NEW BOSS IN TOWN

Is the U.S. now controlled by its first authoritarian (wannabe dictator)? Yep! Dear reader, I'm 88 years old and not in the best of health. I love America, our flag, the U.S. Constitution and our history. When you are my age, you lose guile and just want all children and grandchildren of the world protected from harm. I don't plan on being silent over the mess that we are in. I claim my First Amendment rights under the U.S. Constitution. I am an Army veteran with two older brothers buried in Arlington National Cemetery. Our military swears an oath to the U.S. Constitution; they don’t swear an oath to a person. Their pledge of allegiance is to a flag and the United States of America. Again, not a person, even if our president tries to corrupt that legal truth.

As far as President Donald Trump, 90% of the voters do not know that in his 2016 presidential campaign he had 100 Russian operatives (according to the Mueller report), helping with his campaign against Hillary Clinton. I knew then and I know now, our president has “Putin envy”. In fact, he often uses Soviet tactics in his approach to governance. The Soviets play up the word truth, using Pravda, a newspaper, just as our president has adopted the media use of Truth Social. The Soviets think lying is an absolute must, while governing. They also practice retribution and fear. They invented this term for their followers: “dupes, stooges, and willing idiots”. They demand total and complete loyalty from their followers. The oligarchs love their expensive yachts and always fall in line for their leader or else they would lose their riches and chance a Siberia sentence or even a “Russian style suicide”. The Russian leaders are humorless and often use cruelty as a deadly weapon and they constantly lie to advance their political positions with the entire world.

The U.S. president chooses loyalty as the first criteria to be on any of his government appointee lists. Professional ability or talent is way down the line on that list. But he now projects to everyone that his loyal American opponents are the real “enemy within”. Meanwhile he lives in a dream world of absolute fiction. For example, his defeat of the 2020 election was indeed fairly and squarely beyond all reasonable doubt, won by President Joe Biden. But President Trump made claims that it was a “rigged election”. What evidence, what facts, what proof was offered by the MAGA followers? NONE! The “rigged proposition” really and truly can only be described as B.S. And that fiction has cost the American taxpayers millions of dollars in needless wasted energy. His MAGA followers are required to go along with the lies or lose their “loyalty credentials”. The lies of the boss must be accepted by the loyal followers no matter what. If there is any resistance, they know that he uses retribution and revenge as a political tool. Besides that, he threatens them with being “primaried”, and most MAGA followers will do anything to keep their powerful positions in politics safe. They do not want to follow any oaths or pledges they have taken… at least so far.

IS AMERICAN NOW POLITICALLY CHALLENGED?

You betcha! Remember Plato said, “democracies pass into despotism”. There is plenty of historical truth that no government lasts forever. Now President Trump thinks he may be president in 2028, despite his ineligibility, and has produced hats that say, “Trump 2028”. Much of his power for governing was given to him by SCOTUS and the MAGA Legislative Branch of government, both of whom seem to have created our first monarchy in the United States. The new powers extended to the Executive Branch have made him almost equal to king George III. And compared to colonial times and King George III, our president is much worse than that king according to many. He is a former real estate salesman who filed for bankruptcy 6 times. He is anti-science and does not believe in the threat of climate change even though the forests of the entire world are burning from dryness, the oceans are warmer than ever, and all the glaciers are melting. In his first term in office his dominant first big Bill passed in 2017 was a huge tax cut for the already rich. He kept insisting on more power in his first term and was restrained by either appointees or politicians trying to enforce the Constitution instead of his demands. Also, remember he broke a record leaving his first term of office with the U.S. Treasury $7.6 trillion over budget. Note well that in this second term, the 2025 fiscal year deficit was just published at $1.7 trillion! (you read correctly) President Joe Biden completed his four years with a $2.6 trillion deficit. But in fairness he was faced with all of that lost revenue from the huge tax cut Bill passed by President Trump who is giving way too many tax privileges to the already rich. That very substantial tax cut for the rich, after seven years, is now being renewed, extended under the Big Beautiful MAGA Bill. This Bill will vastly diminish the power and finances of USAID, SNAP, the Affordable Care Act and countless other aspects of our government. Is there going to be transparency, oversight, or any accountability for the remainder of changes made under Project 2025? The taxpayer is entitled to know.

TARRIFFS

Our new president has fallen in love with his trading strategy using tariffs (don't forget dear reader who pays for the tariffs, it's the American consumer). Ben Franklin was against tariffs, 90% of today’s economists and historians reject excessive tariffs as a sensible means of trade. President Ronald Reagan and Warren Buffett have demeaned tariffs. I call tariffs, TERRORIFFS. Look at our friendly ally in Canada being treated like a semi enemy and now being threatened over an ad on national Canadian television showing U.S. President Ronald Reagan in a verifiable quote saying that tariffs were a bad idea. President Trump seeing the ad turned around and immediately told the Canadian officials they would be surcharged another 10% because of that ad. Is this increase in tariffs a means for the president to show intimidation and hostility? You betcha! How have we given one individual the power (with no oversight) to turn tariff policies into political misdeeds? Punishing trading partners with so much political hostility should not be tolerated any longer because it hurts the consumer. Just consider this, our number one trading partner, Canada is now trying to turn to China as a more reliable country to trade with. Fact check!

OF, BY, AND FOR, WHO?

How is an authoritarian president of the United States, one who constantly drives for more power, more money and desires more retribution and more revenge, going to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence? He can't do it. He is a divide-and-conquer leader who can't get everything he wants fast enough. He comes up practically daily with names of alleged enemies that he wants to be indicted. Trust me dear reader, President Trump with his political demeanor would be profoundly rejected by all of those Americans who signed the Declaration of Independence. If this man is not careful, he will surpass Vladimir Putin on all four of those issues that mean so much to him, power, money, retribution and revenge. Are we being transformed into a form of political madness right before our eyes? I am absolutely positive that this outcome is not what most of the MAGA followers imagined it would be or should be.

Now the American oligarchs are on the edge of turning us into a country of less taxes for the rich, more tariffs and more AI. How is this happening when we just found out that fiscal year 2025 is $1.7 trillion off budget? It's nuts because the MAGA Big Beautiful Bill will add another 3 or 4 trillion-dollars to the deficit. Fact check! Don’t forget Wall Street is predictably and many times inaccurate over the future of surplus or debt. The question remains, are they gambling way too much on tariffs and AI being successful enough to help our financial and economic situation in the U.S.?

We have not seen this careless attitude in my opinion since 1928 and 2007. We have followed Trump's lead and now the billionaires are buying in. In fact, we are headed for a country of the billionaires, by the billionaires, and for the billionaires. They all use the stock market as a running barometer for their success. Yes, it's that same old song, sung since the beginning of stock markets. They weave in all of their ideas, always confident that they're all going to work. Consider this, the president and his political staff and cronies are now on a reckless spending spree, receiving no oversight, no transparency or accountability. The new ICE officers are getting $50,000 bonuses and fancy appealing cars to use. Meanwhile many of his new cabinet heads are getting new expensive jets and who knows what else. The Vice President and his family have already taken seven vacations this year. It's like, “get all you can and get it right now just in case it won't last”. Very soon, looking at a reasonable trajectory of economics in this country, we will be over $40 trillion in debt and mind you, the interest payment on the debt will be the largest portion of the entire U.S. budget. Meanwhile we are using AI as a rescue program. Let's all remember, AI and robots have no soul, no conscience, and pay no taxes. So, who pays? The people? Is it all a form of madness spurred on by a man who could not even make a profit running a casino when the profits were built right into every bet made on the casino floor. Yet he went bankrupt then, and five other times. Now that same man has put the world on notice that the United States of America is upping tariffs on them, as if tariffs are going to solve all of our financial ills. It seems he and most of his MAGA followers, including the billionaires, are living in a make-believe world where tariffs are a good thing. What many have overlooked here is that a peculiar ideology, conceived by mindless business notions, cannot overcome reason and truth in the marketplace. Truth is permanent and overshadows ignorance and the egotistical “know it alls”, that are supposedly in control. Arrogance does not control outcomes and events, which always need reason not ideology. And truth combined with reason must always try to take charge. Remember, fiction in the marketplace never ever pays dividends.

Unfortunately, our president has seen fit to start destroying speed boats allegedly full of drugs for use in the United States. These appear to be actions of war with no wars authorized by Congress. If these are really criminals selling drugs to the United States then why were the two captured "drug runners" sent back to their home countries instead of being tried in an American court of law?

But there is more to the story - some MAGA followers such as the Christian nationalists and a few in the billionaire class, many of whom profess there is a just God, should note well that that God said in the New Testament “what you do for the least of my brethren you do for me”. He also said, “what does it profit a man if he gains the whole worlds but loses his soul?” If I were to advise billionaires, I would tell them to read, “the rich man and Lazarus” in Luke, and “the sheep and the goats” in Matthew of the New Testament. It seems truth has gone on vacation from many of the MAGA leaders as they pursue more power and much more money and many more privileges. It’s like they just can’t get enough. Now there are parties at Mar-A Lago for all the big shots, as regular Americans are losing their food stamps and their jobs. Have political developments gifted the United States with a Nero from Roman times?

THE DOWNFALL OF PROJECT 2025

Russ Vought, Kevin Roberts, Vice President JD Vance (Project 2025 authors), the Speaker of the House Michael Johnson, the Federalist Society, CPAC, Fox News pundits, and SCOTUS, seemed to have joined together to condemn the “woke” politicians of the past who have supposedly made the United States government agencies politically too large, too cumbersome and too impossible to control. They claim that there is too much regulation and believe it or not, too much oversight. Their idea to carry out the new control of the agencies is to have a new presidency, a new Unitary Executive Branch that has more power. It seems there will be total immunity from any political actions taken. Is this part of their magic bullet to change our departments and agencies by giving such additional power to one branch of government? Let me remind the reader, “power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.” Have we arrived at this point in American politics that we are allowed to be led by horses with blinders on?

Project 2025 and DOGE were purposely kept a secret from the American voter in the presidential campaign of 2024. Most of the voters had no idea that Project 2025 would be sprung on our country. So how was Project 2025 implemented? Well, by slam, bam unprofessionalism as it seemed that DOGE appointee Elon Musk was sitting on a bulldozer, knocking over government buildings. He even stated his job was to get rid of the “weeds”, meaning the federal employees, and to close down those fat government agencies getting rid of them so the “weeds” would not come back. Dear reader, fact check this several times! We were told that our government was full of waste, fraud and abuse. Were they able to show all that waste, fraud and abuse was prevalent? No, they could not. In fact, they exaggerated and fumbled and mumbled answers. They have actually done so much harm to many agencies that it will probably take years to reestablish continuity and professionalism back into our government. Let's take an example right now of one sad commentary over the actions of several leaders. By February of this year, Project 2025 was kicking in and one of the first casualties was USAID which was formed in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy. USAID already had approved funding on all food that was to be delivered, and that food was grown by American farmers for children in need in Africa and other parts of the world. This is something that had been going on for several decades. However, the orders were given that all food deliveries were to be stopped. Much of it spoiled. All the food in the warehouse deliveries were brainlessly stopped. Dear reader the result of that harsh and thoughtless decision was over 150,000 African children actually starved to death for lack of expected USAID food. Fact check please, fact check! Now remember this array of Americans, some claiming to be Christians, Russ Vought Vice President JD Vance Speaker of the House Johnson, Elon Musk and of course the President of the United States, all remained silent over these terrible avoidable deaths of young children. Why were they silent? Could it be because they have egos the size of basketballs, but their hearts are smaller than a golf ball? That answer is easy. The unamerican proscription now used to starve children is a sad political event if not the saddest ever. Remember, all of these terrible consequences are because the MAGA strategists wanted to correct all of the past “woke” policies. Does this sound like lunacy? They made a mad dash to upset and dishonor our Institutions. They were hell bent on punishing innocent government employees it seems to me. So now we have seen children starving and the punishing of federal employees they call “weeds”.

Well, how about the rest of Federal Agencies? Many have been blown up and more will be dismembered in the future. There will be chaos and more fired federal employees. Some of them called back and then laid off again. There is little oversight, little transparency, no accountability. The DOJ is now a skeleton crew of loyalists to the Executive Branch. The professionalism, the independence, and those attorneys who swore to honor the U.S. Constitution over the Executive branch first, have been let go. Those who tried to protest such abuse were shown the door. Now, white collar crime and tax cheats will have few if any competent DOJ attorneys to protect the American taxpayer from these cheaters. In this manner more deadbeats will be keeping our U.S. Treasury broke.

There are many examples of misfeasance, malfeasance and extreme behavior all to please the Executive Branch. It seems that the MAGA Senators and the MAGA Congressmen have replaced their backbones with bananas. They have surrendered their power under Article One of the U.S. Constitution to the president. Is this how societies die dear reader? You betcha.

But, "it isn't over until it's over”. We can reclaim our checks and balances. We can use our moral compass! If we can find enough MAGA followers who do not want to be condemned for the way they allowed our U.S. Constitution to literally fold up. The MAGA followers do not fear losing their family name or even the judgment of history or facing a just God. We need and still have the ability to bring back checks and balances, due process and the rule of law. MAGA followers can join up with Independents and Democrats to get our political purpose back to supporting the U.S. Constitution under checks and balances. SCOTUS musts get off ideology and stick to reason in their legal conclusions. Reason is a better foundation for good law.

All Americans must now embrace patriotism if they love their flag and their country, using reason instead of every day chaos. Let us pray that a just God will keep us from a path toward tyranny. We have kept the faith for 250 years in this country. Let's not abandon freedom and liberty at this very time. Our Founding Fathers are rooting for us to save their Constitution, right now.

IS THE BOSS ANTI AMERICAN AND UNAMERICAN?

Well let's see. He calls the loyal opposition (Democrats) the “enemy of the people”. He, CPAC and many MAGA followers actually like Vladimir Putin, Viktor Orban and many other authoritarians better than George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, or Ronald Reagan. President Trump has a prominent picture of President Ronald Reagan hanging in his White House office. But something's missing here. Ronald Reagan was never against immigration or immigrants. Ronald Reagan never blessed capricious tariffs. And remember when the Russians invaded Afghanistan to protect a communist group of leaders, Ronald Reagan in 1986 gave the Afghan freedom fighters shoulder launched Stinger missiles. This dear reader is actually part of the reason Russia pulled out of Afghanistan in 1989. The Russians suffered 16,000 military deaths along the way. The Afghan rebels fought so hard especially with American weapons it seemed to help turn the tide of that war. Remember, we must all give credit to President Ronald Reagan for finally, helping to dissolve the Iron Curtain which began in 1946 by the Soviet Union. Also, he gets credit in the tearing down of the Berlin wall as well as the funeral of that Iron Curtain. The Soviets had invaded Afghanistan to lend support to a communist regime as I mentioned earlier. What's my point? Oddly Ukraine is begging us for Tomahawk missiles, but our president says “no” because he had talked to Vladimir Putin who was totally against it! Dear reader, fact check this and all the above scenarios I have put forth. Then fact check again! Right now, we are reducing our NATO presence in Europe, by reducing our military there. We are about to remove some American troops from the area and our aircraft carriers from the Mediterranean. I really believe President Ronald Reagan is getting uncomfortable in his grave!

Now is America no longer a government of the people, by the people, and for the people? It sure looks that way. Our president profoundly and absolutely loves power, money, authoritarians, and the billionaire class. Now is it fair to say America is turning into a country of the billionaire, by the billionaire, and for the billionaire? Speaking for myself it sure looks that way.

I mean Wall Street is riding the exciting wave of AI, tariffs, and prolonged minor taxation with promises that our country will be better off with all of their strategic economic moves. But I have a reminder, AI is not a magic bullet, it has no soul and no conscience, and tariffs have never ever had a long-lasting positive effect on any country’s earnings. Tariffs have created many more enemies than friends.

THE PEOPLE'S HOUSE

The “people's White House “is now fully owned and claimed by President Donald Trump. He rules all decisions on its use, up keep and demolition while no oversight, accountability or transparency is ever offered. Read below.

THE PEOPLE ARE THE VICTIM!

The average American voter and American taxpayer are really the victims here as the president more than doubles his personal estate value since January 20th, 2025. Yet all he does is cry about “weaponization” against him in the past. The truth is, our president is too often shadow boxing with made up opponents. Dear reader, ask his niece, a psychologist who has written three books with her uncle in the context, author Mary L. Trump.

One of my best friends said, “Elections have consequences”.

PRAY/PRAY

Dear reader you must join me in prayer for all of those MAGA followers who have given up on the rule of law but want to put those of us that still believe in the U.S. Constitution, in harm's way. Remember those who practice cruelty will not escape the judgment of history or a just God. Let us pray that a just God will in fact protect and keep our country free from tyranny. George Washington in 1792 asked all Americans for their patriotism. We can still deliver for him, the father of our country. I know many wonderful, decent, American citizens who want to keep that faith in our Founding Fathers to continue. How? By a rebirth of our duty to the flag and our U.S. Constitution. Let’s all join up for such a noble cause. Let’s protect our children and grandchildren from chaos. Never forget, without a vision, the people may perish.
