Abiding in Truth and Patriotism Will Restore Freedom in America

The President of the United States Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche seem to have all consented to change our great society into one man rule. I am confident that events will show they have picked the wrong time, the wrong country, and the wrong citizens in their weak scheme to give more power to the Executive Branch. Meanwhile, they constantly defame the loyal opposition for simply doing their job of oversight.

What? A self-appointed lawless king and wannabe dictator?

FOURTEEN CITATION EXAMPLES THAT REVEAL THE MORAL DECADENCE IN AMERICA

1 – In February 2025, DOGE actions taken by Elon Musk, Vice President JD Vance and Russ Vought resulted in over 500,000 children of the world starving to death as a result of USAID's stopping the deliverance of food stuffs already paid for. These deaths were a direct result of DOGE. Fact check this sad event!

2 - 80% of the American public disagreed with President Trump’s pardoning of the insurrection mob at the Capitol building January 6^th, 2021. Please remember, President Joe Biden won that election fair and square! This despite continuing references to the election being “rigged”, without offering proof, without facts and zero evidence. All we continue to get is a petulant poor loser spending millions of the taxpayers’ dollars continuing to look for evidence that was never there. This silly trip they are on must stop!

3 - 86% of the Americans polled disagree with President Trump’s plan to absorb Greenland on a presidential political whim.

4 - ICE agents seem to now be the enemy in Brown Shirts and Black Shirts (in the style of Hitler and Mussolini in the 1930’s), lawless criminal types using brute and angry force to fulfill their fascist calling on behalf of President Trump, Vice President Vance, Kristi Noem, Russ Vought and Elon Musk. Please note that both Vance and Musk had campaigned for EU country authoritarians in 2024. Now they all want us to believe that protesters exercising their First Amendment rights can be called “domestic terrorists”. Fact check!

5 – Masked ICE agents actually went into a home in Minnesota, without a warrant, grabbed a supposed immigrant and took him to their car in extremely cold weather in only a robe and slippers. They later released him as an innocent victim with no apology whatsoever. THIS IS AMERICA?

6 - President Donald Trump admires using brute force. He venerates Vladimir Putin and Viktor Orban over George Washington and Ronald Reagan. I said nine years ago that Trump has “Putin envy” and I still believe it today! Surprisingly dear reader, many of his MAGA followers do not object to the Russian style of governance, now forced on them by our president, and often blessed by SCOTUS, by CPAC, the Federalist Society, and the Heritage Foundation, authors of Project 2025. The DOJ and the FBI pretend ignorance with eyes closed. Our fight now is over despotism vs. the rule of law.

7 - The Department of Justice now fires and hires attorneys according to loyalty to the Executive. Talent and professional qualifications are not required. This will give tax cheats and white-collar criminals the green light in America, and sooner not later. This lack of oversight is really beyond the pale.

8 - MAGA Senators and MAGA House members have proven over and over again that they fear the president and give him all their legal rights under Article 1 power in the U.S Constitution, not seeming to care that he is abusing that power.

9 - The president spent $145 billion over budget in the month of December 2025 alone. Note well that he broke a record for deficit spending in his first term as president by $7.6 trillion. Fact check!

10 - The U.S. will have almost $40 trillion in national debt by January 2027, without any program presented by this Administration to reduce it. Fact check! Don’t forget the U.S, takes in less than $7 trillion a year in federal revenue of all kinds.

11 - The president uses exaggeration, innuendo, disinformation and outright lies on a daily basis. Everyone must fact check what he says and realize this is an absolutely terrible way to govern. Why should we allow truth to escape the Executive Branch?

12 - We have lost our number one trading partner Canada to China. Canada will now purchase from China 39,000 electric vehicles priced at $14,000 each. Our good neighbor and trading partner is doing everything they can to distance themselves and their economy from the United States because our president is mean spirited, unpredictable and unreliable as a geopolitical partner. Now our president has angrily stated he will raise the Canadian tariffs 100%! Is this plain nuts? Yep!

13 – Our president has zero interest in leading the free world. He actually condemns our free world allies, reminding them of all the “mistakes” they “keep making”. Time will tell whether his ambition is to actually be one of the “big three” authoritarian nations, China, Russia and the United States of America. Does he plan on absorbing smaller nations and neighbors in the process? It certainly appears that way.

14 – The U.S. Military is now being led unfortunately by a draft dodger who for some reason wants to purge and punish many U.S. Generals, many Black historical heroes and 4,000 transgenders in the military. Black heroes’ photographs have been removed from the Pentagon. Recently, there was an occasion at a U.S. burial ground facility where 8,000 WWII U.S. veterans are buried in Holland. Two black American soldier’s photographs were removed from that facility, and very quickly the Dutch citizens who help maintain the cemetery, demanded they be put back. This should be offensive to all normal flag loving Americans, again fact check!

A NEW GOVERNANCE?

The question is now being answered as to whether President Donald Trump desires Soviet style Russian governance. Remember, the Russians consider their citizens to all be “dupes, stooges and willing idiots”. Now the MAGA Senators, the MAGA House members, all the Cabinet members and some corporations seem to be fulfilling that Russian style as many abandon the U.S. Constitution and go directly to the Executive Branch for their marching orders. And many seem to work extra hard to blindly fulfill them. These people could not care less whether they are being used by the Executive branch. We must question if they have surrendered their souls to a false god. If so, they are truly abandoning one of the greatest political documents known to man, the U.S. Constitution. That legal guide was created by our 55 Founding Fathers as a gift to “the people” of the United States of America. Those 55 men who created that great document wanted a “more perfect union” to be given to “the people”. Now that document is being incrementally overwhelmed by lawlessness, with no checks and balances and without the outlined Article 1 oversight now given up by most of the MAGA House and MAGA Senate members.

We must pray more and then display more patriotism as requested by George Washington in 1792. Dear reader, in the face of all this chaos and mayhem, we cannot just give up and give in! The answers are simple; on behalf of our children and grandchildren we must maintain freedom and liberty! I know it is easy for me to say at age 88, and in poor health, but I will say it again, and again, before a just God, that my feelings are well supported by facts and evidence, we all must abide in embracing the rule of law.

One man rule will never be an option in this great Republic. Especially not during the 250-year anniversary of our Declaration of Independence!

We must pray for these misguided folks, vigorously and daily. They all display egos the size of a basketball and hearts smaller than a golf ball. They treat the voter with disdain; they will not prevail. We will remain a proud, free people for another 250 years. You can count on it! Truthful people full of patriotism only have to love our country more to prevail.

WITHOUT A VISION THE PEOPLE PERISH

Finally dear reader, I have never quoted the Christian Bible, chapter and verse, even though 60% of Americans claim to believe in that faith. I wish that all Americans would read the following red colored print in their New Testament Bible. These words were spoken by Christ; “The Rich Man and Lazarus” in Luke chapter 16, verse 19-31. And then read “The Sheep and the Goats” in Matthew, chapter 25 verse 31-45. The reason these are important is because JD Vance has suggested in the past that Pope Francis and Pope Leo XIV are mistaken over their views on the importance of more moral support for immigrants. Remember he professes the Christian faith. Also Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, Attorney General Pam Bondi, founder of Project 2025 Russ Vought and Speaker of the House Michael Johnson, have all professed their Christian faith. Yet we see mayhem and a lack of tolerance for immigrants. These people also agree with the President of the United States that diversity, equity and inclusion should not be part of “the American way”. Now they are refusing to give federal funding to universities, corporations, the education system and the military if they continue to embrace DEI. Imagine dear reader, these three words are now forbidden! This makes so little sense, historians are going to perhaps laugh that they were discontinued in our society, where “justice for all” is a settled prerequisite in the U.S Constitution.

I would like to see checks and balances restored immediately by the House and Senate. I would like to see SCOTUS with more devotion to Constitutional reason instead of using their own ideology. I would like to see a restoration of the historical friendships of all our allies in the free world. I would like to see tariffs that can be relied on, without whimsical ups and downs, according to the mood of the president.

Surrendering to chaos and mayhem, as this Administration continues to use divide and conquer tactics with mean and brutal ICE forces, will only harm America’s reputation throughout the world. All Americans must unite together behind the Declaration of Independence, our Founding Fathers, and the U.S. Constitution. Remember that document is one of the greatest political legal themes ever created by mortal man. Their words should be held dear for another 250 years. We are a county of freedom and liberty are we not?

Note well, “the people’s White House” is not for sale. Our free world allies and our neighboring countries must remain our friends. We all must acknowledge that the Catholic Cardinals are asking every citizen to protect innocent immigrants. Also, we must thank those 90 Protestant Clergymen who protested and were arrested at the Minneapolis Airport as they tried to stop immigrants from being flown out of the state without any proof of criminality. Our current raison d’etre should be to always remain united to protect any and all Americans being put at risk from ICE. It is insane that at one of the new Texas retention centers with over 3,500 prisoners, the DHS personnel cannot produce a single picked up immigrant for whom they have proof of criminality. Dear reader this is not the American way; this is not the way we treat one another.

The American voter is constantly being fed a line of claptrap that suggests the immigrant class are all criminal, rapists and mental deranged. This divide and conquer political stunt must stop. Immigrants are less likely to commit crimes than the average American citizen! Fact check! Americans cannot exist having to listen to lies and seeing so much mayhem and chaos. Now we read often that this Executive is acquiring another $2.5 billion in his estate. It appears that the Emoluments Clause in the U.S. Constitution is being abused.

Let us calmly, thoughtfully, prayerfully, and legally take back our country from the mean spirited misguides. This country must be given back to “the people” that want to maintain “liberty and justice for all”. Fifty-five Founding Fathers gave us this gift and we must not allow cynical, power and money-grubbing authoritarians to commit a grand theft.

Before I complete this blog, I would like to thank all the major corporations and small businesses in Minnesota who have been donating funds to help the other small business owners that have suffered from the ICE surge. They seem to agree with every American that they want to keep this “the land of the free and the home of the brave.”

Remember, the U.S. Constitution rivals, in my opinion, the Magna Carta as a legal instrument to protect the lives of men and women. Let us bless and keep it dear for another 250 years!
