Stop! America, Stop this Madness!

Our goal now is to bring all Americans of good faith, including agnostics, including non-believers, who believe in reinforcing the rule of law, who believe in our government, our country and our flag. Each moment is an opportunity to begin again to reflect on how to start the new rebirth of our American traditions and laws.

America, God shed his grace on thee…

The United States of America is in a tailspin politically and morally without looking for any answers, when the answer should be righteous indignation until our country is rescued from all of this chaos and mayhem. I am 89 years old, a grandfather, a retired owner of a small business, and a veteran. At age 14 I read the book, Lincoln the Unknown, and I memorized the Gettysburg Address. I have been interested in politics from a distance every day since.

WHAT IS THE ANSWER TO SOLVING THIS MESS?

The answer cannot wait until next November in the election cycle. If we take action now to recapture oversight, to recapture the purse strings under Article one of the Constitution, it is possible and strongly possible, that we can save over a trillion dollars simply by slowing down this Administration, his Cabinet his appointees, and all of those that have access to the U.S. Treasury funds. They must be seen under a microscope of oversight. Remember this president broke a four-year record in his first term as president spending $7.6 trillion over budget. Now he is already $2.4 trillion over budget his first year. He has started the war in Iran. There are many, many emerging federal contracts, new prisons, $200 billion for the military, and we are paying whopping debt payments. Now those in the Cabinet are rearranging the Institutional deck chairs creating new programs and giving out no bid contracts. Don’t forget many of our Institutions had over 200,000 layoffs of federal employees. This did not result in a vacancy, in fact new federal contracts were given out to corporations, many on a no bid basis. Is this a political failure? I think so! The Executive branch is failing in virtually every economic area. There has been no job growth since 2024.

We have no uniform national purpose, and we have no vision of how to restore honor and decency. The White House is on a constant search for more power and more wealth, seemingly on a never-ending journey. We must visualize a safer world for our children and grandchildren and create a better future for them by finding and executing more oversight and enforcement of the laws already on the books. We can wait no longer, or else the U.S. Treasury will suffer even more.

We are hell bent on a program of destroying most of our Institutions. The president and his MAGA followers often dishonor past presidents. They also dishonor past legitimate programs. MAGA media thrives on dishonoring the opposition with disinformation. We dishonor each other. We must now turn to actually saving our country because of all the friends and allies we have lost. The greatest political experiment created by those 55 men in 1787 is now threatened. Our political Bible, the U.S. Constitution is now abused daily and thoughtlessly. Article 1 under the House and Senate has been taken over by the Executive branch. It is no longer controlled by MAGA Republicans. They have lost all of their rudders and forsaken their oath to the U.S. Constitution. They simply bow and bend a knee to the Executive branch. This must stop. They must save the country by honoring their pledges, their oaths, by thinking of their reputation, thinking of their place in history, and hopefully thinking of a just God who is taking notes. Truth should now be our guide, not party politics. Our first president, George Washington did not like the Party politics system because he thought it may divide us.

HOW TO CHANGE FOR THE BETTER?

Keep thinking freedom and liberty is threatened now more than any time since the Civil war. Keep thinking it's our 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Are we going to throw out all of the magical spirituality given to us by our Founding Fathers? Keep thinking we can restore honor and dignity. Keep thinking we can restore the rule of law. Meanwhile, we are encumbered by the strong man approach and the tough guy approach, using lies, disinformation, anti-science, unamerican and anti-American concepts. Every day the Executive branch focuses on power, money and retribution. The MAGA party calls the minority party the “enemy of the people”. This has never happened before. The results of all of this can only lead to authoritarianism, a king or a dictator. Is that what we really want? Remember right now we have a leader who is doing more harm to our civil society than what Nero did to Rome. Nero did not destroy Rome, even though he was a poor leader. Rome kept on going for several hundred more years. Now if we are not careful in America, we could be witnessing the end of a grand experiment instigated by the unbelievable creative force of our Founding Fathers. We all must visualize going back to a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people.”

The political party system now must take a breather and focus more on truth instead of party positions. What is that truth that is good for our entire society, should be on the list of questions answered daily. We must embrace a political fairness doctrine instead of stacking party against party in communication and social media. Aren’t we all in this together? The divide and conquer being embraced politically is too costly to continue. How much more of this mayhem can the U.S. Treasury withstand? Do we really want a new form of government called tyranny? This Administration is literally out of control in spending our hard-earned money, our tax dollars wasted while many of our citizens are suffering deprivation.

Every politician elected by the people must now stand up and commit to the rule of law. All citizens must honor the U.S. Constitution. We must fear the judgment of history and the judgement of a loving God if we fail. Those who live without fear of a final judgement day are putting too much hope behind the thought that there will be no consequences for their behavior. I accept the fact that we are a secular society, but that should not stop many of us who embrace religiosity. Faith is a gift that many have chosen not to practice.

I encourage all readers of this missive to fact check the words and statements constructed in this paper. Especially, Fox News pundits, News Max pundits, CPAC, Brendon Carr of the FCC, and all MAGA followers who seem to not care about losing the rule of law. Have they turned completely in favor of honoring a new political God? We need to stay on a correct spiritual path adhering to our Founding Fathers or we will lose this great nation.

Today the billionaires club believe God has chosen them to be rich and dominant over a government “of, by, and for the people”? Less we forget that very God rejected wealth as a ticket to the promised land. I guarantee the angels feel sorry for those who believe that their money will give them a preferred position into the trip of the afterlife. Note carefully that Mohammed said many years ago, about the death of a human being, “what good deeds have gone before thee?” And Jesus said, “offenses are bound to come, but woe unto him where the offense cometh”.

Saint Peter said, “honor your government and pay your taxes”. Our Founding Fathers said that there will be no religious test under our U.S. Constitution too hold government positions. Can both be right and just with these two positions? You betcha! They are not diametrically opposed. Can we seal the deal and bring the country back to its sanity? Remember the problem is excessive power, excessive wealth and excessive retribution. Can we find our way back to our past American political system? We must do it. We must regain brotherhood over division and tyranny. Dictators thrive on division while patriots love unity.

The rule of law, oversight, and recapturing the purse strings by Article 1 in the Constitution is a must. The Executive branch has no accountability and if the Judicial branch of government was not enforcing their Constitutional will, we would have already dipped into a dictatorship. Right now, our farmers are practically out of business. The measles disease is emerging because of the disrespect for vaccines. We have become anti-science and no longer believe in climate change despite a recent record-breaking occurrence in the southwest where 70 communities broke heat records. Millions have lost their health insurance. Children in the United States have lost access to food. And because of our despicable destroying of USAID, millions of foreign children are starving to death. As a nation we now are morally bankrupt and will soon be financially bankrupt unless steps are taken immediately. It will cost our budget, easily over a trillion dollars or more if we wait to take action to control the purse strings. The House and the Senate must regain their sanity and fulfill their duty to Article 1 of the U.S. Constitution.

THE ANSWER

What is needed is an immediate vision of how to save our children and grandchildren from all this mayhem and chaos.

We must pray for and protest this ridiculous behavior by the Executive branch on a reckless spending spree and obliging warfare instead of peace. Political activity in America should be attempting to satisfy the majority of our citizens, not just 1,500 billionaires.

Lastly, we can’t allow this grand political experiment given to us by our Founding Fathers to fade away! Our country simply cannot be taken over by tyranny. Protest and let’s find our way back to the rule of law and the traditional American system of governance. Dear reader, download the hymn by Julia Ward Howe, The Battle Hymn of the Republic.
