The United States 250th Birthday: Are We Now Depraved and Unjust?

Every American that loves their children and grandchildren must take a brand-new fresh look at the U.S. Constitution. We must care about this strange spending that is going to bankrupt us. We must not be silent. We must pray and protest, which we are allowed to do under our First Amendment rights. We must review the Hungarian success and also that in Brazil where the citizens tossed out wannabe dictators.

Meanwhile, is the emperor trying to control every dime in and out of the U.S. Treasury? You betcha!

PROLOGUE

The most important lesson given to us by our Founding Fathers is the rejection of personal power politics. Those 55 men in Philadelphia in 1787 were there to find a “more perfect union”. After three months of studying past history, they decided to create the U.S. Constitution, “of the people, by the people and for the people”. In short, what they did as the most powerful and wealthy men in America, was to simply give up that power, trusting “the people” to succeed in self-government.

I named my blog: Returntothebeginning.com over three years ago. I was worried by what seemed to be a disintegration of political civility. The hostility, the lies and misinformation, especially by hate radio and hate television (as it used to be called when it formed in 1995) was simply too much. The lack of civility is now running amok as Project 2025 has emerged, to be followed by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). This was also followed by a cancellation of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). So let us know see how the Executive branch handled several issues that followed.

THE IMMIGRATION POLICIES OF PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP

In 2015 when Donald Trump came down that escalator to run for president, one of his first statements he presented was that we were being overrun by immigrants, who were murderers, rapists and mentally diseased. Fact check. In his first term in office, he blamed Democrats for any and all things wrong in the criminal area and hinted that most of the crime in American was created by immigrants. Fox News pundits said in several of their shows that it was unsafe to walk in New York City because of the immigrant criminals. The problem is the immigrants, “it's our problem in America”. There is an important story that goes along with these lies. All immigrants, green card or illegal, dear reader have committed fewer crimes per capita than the average American citizen. Fact check this so you will no longer fall for the big lie over immigration. It's very important that you understand the thesis of President Donald Trump is to divide and conquer, divide and conquer, divide and conquer. Make his followers feel that there's a group out there that we can't trust, that we want no part of, and that they must leave America. Well during his first term the immigrants were pouring over the border into Texas. But remember 95% of them were getting jobs either with farming, fast food, or the building trades. They weren't coming here to rape and pillage, that is an ignorant myth. And history will no doubt condemn Fox News pundits.

In President Joe Biden’s final year in office, April and May of 2024 Senator James Lankford from Oklahoma, a Republican came up with what he thought was a Bill that would help control the problems at the border. The MAGA followers and the democratic minority said that the Bill had merit. However, then candidate Donald Trump uttered this statement, “no I’m using the issue of immigration against Joe Biden.” Fact check.

Now in the second term of President Trump over immigration, rather than admitting that the immigration rumors started by him are unfounded, he has doubled down. So dear reader, more and more lies followed by new detention centers. We now have one of the biggest budgets of all for the ICE members. Why? Is it to scare these immigrants? Why the necessity for Stephen Miller and the president to make cruelty a part of their strategy in dealing with immigrants. It seems to be a rule that showing cruelty might impact and stop people at the border. However, what we have now is murders by ICE in the streets of innocent American citizens, and survivors of cruelty and other gunshot wounds. Now we have 80% of the people in detention centers arrested without any proper evidence of wrongdoing. There is no due process, there is no U.S. Constitution anywhere to be found, in fact many of these detention centers forbid elected Senators and elected Congressmen to enter to observe the treatments of inmates. This situation is only partially overcome as this Administration purposely breaks the law. This is not proper for any voter to accept this kind of ignorance. Please fact check that immigrants in America are not murderers, rapists and mentally diseased and again they commit fewer crimes than average American.

The long-term effect of this mess over immigrants will be impacting farmers, building trades, fast food and of course the growth in the population of America. Right now, our population is barely even, and it is starting to recede. Remember the history of the immigrant class in our country is that they started out low on the employee working ladder. They did the normal things, they married and had children, many of those children went to college and as you can see in the House and the Senate several members are immigrant children. Again and again, we must remind the voter that President Ronald Reagan did not demean the immigrant class. No Republican presidents in the past have ever stated that we should all fear immigrants. The divide and conquer tactics of President Donald Trump and Stephen Miller are shameless and are costing us billions and billions of dollars unjustly as they are so devoid of actual truth.

So where do we go from here? Well, if we're stopping all immigrants coming across the border why are we building all of these detention centers? Why are we paying the contractors that own these detention centers more money than they even asked for? And why are we paying them by the person and by the length of stay, in fact encouraging longer stays by the way the contract is written. This is a corrupt use of our budget. Literally hundreds of no-bid contracts are going out and exploiting that unbelievable rumor that immigrants must be locked up. This must not stand! Cruelty as a government policy is right out of the dark ages.

THE SO-CALLED “RIGGED” ELECTION OF PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN

Some of the peculiarities leading up to the valid election of President Joe Biden in 2020, should be reexamined. The peculiarities were that, throughout the presidential election campaign of the 2020 season, President Donald Trump kept saying, ”It's gonna be a rigged election”, “they're out to get us”, “they're gonna cheat, everybody knows it”, “they're gonna cheat”. It is very important for the reader to recall that at the time of that election, President Donald Trump's approval rating was 40%. Fact check. He knew he would lose and he did by 7 million votes. Fact check!

So, the election takes place. He immediately said when early voting was completed in one state, that because it changed a day or two later, “see it was rigged, we had it won and they changed it, they cheated” and he talked and talked about the “rigged” election and the cheating. Many MAGA lawsuits were filed. Chris Krebs, Trump’s cyber security leader and a Republican appointee by Trump, validated the outcome on all the voting and he concluded it, and he stated it within three weeks of the election, that it was a perfect election no hint of criminality or anything being rigged. Within a day or two Attorney General Bill Barr affirmed the election and accused the president of using BS. They were both positive that it was a proper election. They were both promptly fired by the president. As we were approaching the Electoral College vote for the final blessing of the national election on January 6th, the President had stirred up many of his right-wing MAGA followers. “It's not gonna work, we gotta stop them” is what he said about Vice President Mike Pence chairing the vote. Now mind you dear reader there were already 62 lawsuits filed prior to this time and they lost all of them. There were no facts, there was no proof, and there was no evidence, that the election was “rigged”. It's all as the Attorney General said, a BS story. So, during the insurrection and the attack by over 2,500 insurrectionists, the Capitol police were being overrun, they were being brutalized. Officer Michael Fanone who incidentally voted for Trump, got the hell beat out of him time and time again. He was beaten by over a dozen insurrectionists and requires medical attention to this day. He is now spending his time trying to keep the record straight over this entire fake mess. There were three deaths related to this incident. Now remember again and again, half of the Capitol police, from all we can tell, had voted for Donald Trump. Why is this important? Because our president took the side of the insurrectionists! He abandoned the police who voted for him. Instead, he held up the insurrectionists in high esteem and to this day, praises them and tosses the injured Capitol police aside. The 1,600 convicted felons that defaced the Capitol building and injured Capitol police, were touted by the president as being worthy of a pardon. And note well that on the first day of the beginning of his second term, he pardoned fully 1,600 insurrectionists despite polling that showed 80% of the American public disagreed with his actions. And incredibly he is trying to set up a fund to pay those MAGA insurrectionists. It is still unclear what will become of his attempts at more deception.

What's my point? My point is calling this a rigged election is still a damn lie and it has been a damn lie from the date of inception. Sadly, this Administration will not allow anyone in his Cabinet, any new appointees for important positions, any new appointed judges, and Administration operatives, all staff people, must believe the damn lie and display 100% loyalty to our president. Imagine the incident of four new appellate judges being appointed by the president under “advise and consent” interviews, these four refused to take a position on the Joe Biden election. Why is this important? Because this is insanity at its worst. In America we cannot allow this rigged election BS madness to continue. The answer is simple, every single news conference, the press should demand the latest evidence of a rigged election. This is important because MAGA operatives on the taxpayer payroll are floating all over the country grabbing voting documents, Wisconsin, Georgia, California. We are wasting billions on a prolonged search for something that is not there. This expensive weird shadow boxing must stop.

Now we must also ask the president. “are you holding back evidence to prove that Barack Obama was born in Africa?” Why is this important? Because many MAGA followers still believe Obama was born in Africa and there is not a shred of evidence other than the president’s tongue. And over 60% of MAGA supporters still believe the Joe Biden presidency was a rigged election. This cannot stand because at this very moment the president is scheming daily on how to deflect and question every primary election right now. He is setting up his followers to believe that all elections are rigged. Even Todd Blanche said that on a question over ICE agents being used at the polling places, he stated that “we have to protect the country from the illegal immigrant voters”. This is what he offered as his justification of possibly using ICE agents at the polling places? Dear reader fact check. In the 2016 presidential election there were over 125 million votes cast. How many immigrants out of that 125 million, cast an illegal vote? The answer is maybe 14. For us to spend millions and millions of dollars on a lie over immigrant voting must be stopped immediately so that dishonest politicians cannot wear us all out financially. Frivolous and capricious lying arguments must stop. How many of those 14 were convicted? No one knows there's been no follow up. Let's say all 14 of them were convicted. Is this a reason to send the FBI, ICE agents and other Executive operatives in every precinct in America? It is all make believe BS. So let those of us that believe in truth, reject rumors, innuendo, and platitudes. It will save us money. Remember the Department of Justice should not be allowed to believe in fake lies, their job is to stick to proof, facts and evidence. I am not a lawyer, but I read the Constitution and you don’t have to be a lawyer to sit on the Supreme Court of the United States or to study fervently that Constitution. Let us all gather around truth and stop this nonsense over such chicanery right now!

AMERICA, NOW A COUNTRY OF BRUTALITY

The President of the United States, Project 2025 and DOGE have structured a redo of all of America’s governmental institutions and the military. And how are they doing it? They're doing it with a chainsaw and with bulldozers and nonsensical flim flam totally unstructured. The biggest loser among many in the beginning of their redo was USAID created by President John F. Kennedy in 1962 to advance soft power throughout the world and give America a better reputation. What they did, “they” meaning Russ Vought, JD Vance and Elon Musk, was suspend all shipments of food and medicine throughout the world, for starving children. All of this was blessed by President Donald Trump. There was food on the docks, there was food in warehouses, all provisions for children and clinics throughout the world were suspended. This was food grown by American farmers. The result of their thoughtless stoppage of delivering food? Over 700,000 children throughout the world that were going to receive this food did not get it. They died of starvation within three months. Another 300,000 children and adults died for lack of medicine at clinics we were supporting that were closed down. This is America? Dear reader, remember in all of World War II, in a four-year period, we had less than 500,000 combat deaths fighting the Japanese and the Germans.

The other brutality was the method they used in redoing other institutions in Washington DC. They said the institutions were weak and bad for America because they were structured by the “wokes”. They said the “wokes” had created too many regulations and were taxing too much. Dear reader, all of our institutions were constructed via the U.S. Constitution not an outside group of “wokes”. There had to be votes of Senators and Congressmen. The creation of institutions does not develop in the middle of the night.

Our President with regard to Ukraine refuses to take sides in the war between Ukraine and Russia. Trump refused to give Tomahawk missiles to President Zelenskyy because he said, “I talked to Vladimir Putin for an hour and a half and he said it wasn't a good idea”. Fact check. Dear reader, remember in 1986 President Ronald Reagan sent the Stinger missiles to Afghanistan’s freedom fighters because the communists were occupying Kabul Afghanistan. The Russians had to pull out two years later after losing 16,000 troops.

The President of the United States at the beginning of negotiations with Iran in February decided to break negotiations off and declare war on Iran. So now the Iran war was declared by one person, President Donald Trump. The very first day of the war we bombed an elementary girls school killing 170 children. Did we provide regrets or apologies? No, we did not. Furthermore, we are just shooting speedboats all around the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean because they might be drug boats. Did we have any proof before we blasted them out of the water? None whatsoever. Again, no apologies given. This is a violation of international law, if American citizens can't complain about our government destroying the rule of international law, or of killing innocent school children, then it seems to many of us that we have lost our soul.

Now it appears our president is striking a deal to open up the Straits of Hormuz with a veiled promise to pay our way out of this war with a $300 billion credit card against the U.S. Treasury. Please note that the original settlement under Barak Obama between the United States and Iran under the JCPOA was a $1.7 billion payment to Iran. This $1.7 billion payment was not from U.S. taxpayers. It was money held in banks in Switzerland and was attached by the Americans in receipt of military equipment that was never delivered. The big lie over the $1.7 billion being American taxpayer’s money must stop, fact check. We must stop the constant MAGA lies used to mislead their followers.

FACING AI

Dear reader we are becoming consumed by the brand-new concept called AI. It will be using much of our energy. It will change our society, hopefully for the good. It is already affecting many people for the good, but also for the bad. We still need many answers. For example, what does AI think of the South pole, the North pole and Greenland melting at an alarming rate and dumping unsalted water into the oceans? Offshore from Greenland is the Gulf Stream, many meteorologists say that it is dumping a mile deep of melting glacier ice into the northern Atlantic. Remember Greenland is three times the size of Texas, covered with a mile deep of ice, and that constant warm melting saltless water may change the flow of the Gulf Stream. This may cause climate change to the entire European geography. Are the AI experts considering what to do about C0² which is now over 440 parts per million and constantly increasing because of our use of carbon? How will AI impact American farmers in the long run? What if AI causes 20 million people to lose their jobs? These are long range, impactful areas that we cannot run away from. Finally, will AI please tell the American public what they are going to do with the $40 trillion national debt in America with the possibility of 20 million workers laid off. Can we reduce the debt without taxation!?! Will Elon Musk actually come up with answers from outer space to improve our economy in the United States? Will the worlds first trillionaire leading Space X and Starlink pull a magical feat of saving the American economy with a new economic way to save our future? Sadly, Vice President JD Vance, Russ Vought even the President of the United States allowed Musk to take a chainsaw to USAID causing over a million deaths. The question we all must face over AI, is whether it contains a chance of severe failure. The way to handle this entire matter is by oversight and giving the people, (and the House and Senate), all the information as soon as possible so they are included in all major decisions. Trying to use AI changes at the speed of light in outer space may not be a good idea. Does AI have a chance to improve the livelihood of man? Yes, but we should use reason and not political ideology to achieve our goals.

THE REMEDY

We are now a one-man rule in America for all intents and purposes. All the money in our U.S. Treasury is controlled by our President, he can even declare war, he can take away and he can declare what goes into the U.S. Treasury and how much if it comes out. All these decisions he makes are without oversight under Article 1 of the U.S. Constitution. His MAGA followers will not turn him down. The result financially is that after 1 1/2 years the president has gone $3 trillion over budget. One more time, $3 trillion over budget! Fact check! President Donald Trump was given a $400 million airplane by Qatar, and we are supposed to spend $300 million making it a security-safe government plane. No oversight, no demands for explanations. Now on his own, he tears down the east wing of the White House, builds an athletic edifice on the lawn of the White House. Then on his birthday has a flight of fighter aircraft on a birthday run and UFC fighters in the arena in six or seven matches. And now his reflecting pond redone recently colored blue, has now turned into algae green. He is putting gold leaf on statues and finally he wants to build a triumphal arch. The big question is dear reader, what has he done to earn a triumphal arch, especially at the taxpayer’s expense? We need spending oversight!

Now as a four-time draft dodger, who appointed Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense, they both decided that the command structure in the military had to be changed. A black Chief of Staff was fired. Four four-star generals were released. Black soldiers, women, and transgenders were all looked at differently. These two had suggested to the world that many women, many black soldiers and many transgenders came under the umbrella of DEI over their rights in the military. They seemed intent on removing the black soldier’s heroes photographs from the Pentagon and many museums from World War II gravesites. We must maintain the morale of the U.S. Military, the Army, the Air Force, the Coast Guard, the Navy, we must not start making our soldiers heads spin because of all the "political" changes. In 1948 we integrated the military, now why all the need for radical changes? Now there are reports of no mail delivery (no cookies from Mom) on ships that have been at sea for months. Complaints of terrible food. There is no longer JAG corps inspectors to channel complaints. I am a veteran with two older brothers buried in Arlington National Cemetery. I fear that the morale of our military will suffer. I watched the 2026 graduation of West Point cadets, and the Secretary of Defense got what I can only describe as underwhelming applause, over his political and religious jaded dissertation. I did not feel it was a patriotic speech. It was pure MAGA ideology.

Now the DOJ, and the FBI have no one left that will respect the Constitution because they are told it's loyalty to the president not to the U.S. Constitution that is the way they must play ball.

We are no longer a country of laws. The only reason we are still functioning is that most of the Judicial system is sticking close to the Constitution. That is the Appellate and District Federal courts and state courts. SCOTUS has had a negative impact on our society in many areas in the past year. Allowing ICE agents to arrest alleged immigrants on the sidewalks simply because of their skin color or Hispanic features, was authorized by the Supreme court, is part of the reason why our detention centers are filled up with people who look Hispanic. Is there a possibility that this is a $300 billion result of a Supreme Court Case has led to lawless behavior? Detention centers full of high school students, pregnant women most of which are free of any wrong doing whatsoever.

This is America? And the other miscarriage of justice by SCOTUS has decided to allow States to create gerrymandering laws with no oversight. Blacks and Hispanics who have population density in voting precinct areas are now being faced with dilution of their voting impact because of a blending it MAGA voters. A Hispanic or black community of 500,000 can be split up due to gerrymandering and mixed with a different political party to cause a loss of power. This will heavily impact Texas, Florida and Alabama. In fact, Louisiana, may lose its only black Representative. Is it good for America for certain minority groups to lose their franchise? They pay their taxes and can die in battle but now lose a valuable franchise? SCOTUS has diminished their reputation by seemingly embracing political ideology over learned legal reason. Voting is a Constitutional right, not a political football.

SCOTUS has expanded the power of the Executive branch beyond that outlined by the U.S. Constitution. Now the Executive branch has immunity for all decisions he makes, and he is protected if he suggests he made those decisions as part of a presidential insight. This smells to high heaven, as it leads to chaos and mayhem as a practical matter. This immunity matter appears to be outside of the U.S. Constitutional intent. How can a Supreme Court expand the power of the Executive by legal fiat, 240 years after our Founding Fathers covered all of the Executive branch under Article Two of the U.S. Constitution created in 1787?

What to do, where do we start? What to do is so simple yet extremely difficult because of the nature of this strange and insane position that we are now facing. The answer is not to wait until the next election cycle, but to enforce Article One in the U.S. Construction which was structured by our Founding Fathers. The House and Senate must keep their oath and take back Article One and restore all oversight and watchdogging the purse strings. And we don't do it by party or by pressured political moves, we simply honor and use that great Constitution. We must do this for the good of the country and think of what we are leaving our children and grandchildren. We must do it to control a runaway budget that is spending at an alarming rate of untraced funds. Next year our debt service on our $40 trillion expected debt at that time, will have an interest payment larger than any other item in our national budget unless the military as proposed grows by 30% to 40%. You would have to be from Mars to not realize we're going at a pace of depravity and insanity that cannot be sustained much longer. We have thousands of no bid contracts out there and we have no oversight to keep the foxes out of the hen house. There is no oversight standing guard over how the money is being spent. Is this nuts? America are you paying attention?

We will need everyone to study this current situation. Every American that loves their children and grandchildren must take a brand-new fresh look at the U.S. Constitution. We must care about this strange spending that is going to bankrupt us. We must not be silent. We must pray and protest which we are allowed to do under our First Amendment rights. We must review the Hungarian success and also that in Brazil where the citizens tossed out wannabe dictators. Dear reader remember in Hungary, Victor Orban controlled the press and radio and television, yet 70% of the Hungarians still woke up on Election Day and said goodbye despite Russian operatives in Hungary and JD Vance and Marco Rubio following instructions from president Trump (who actually had a taped message for the Hungarian audience played by Vice President JD Vance). The sad part of this aspect in Europe is that these three and occasionally Elon Musk have all demeaned NATO and EU countries. Remember CPAC and Fox News pundits also backed Viktor Orban. Dear reader Americans should all want their friends back, Canada, Mexico, all of Europe and we should honor the United Nations and International law.

So let us start the voyage on our 250^th anniversary by keeping the U.S. Constitution alive and well and let us start it right now. We must not be the generation that abandoned the vision of what our Founding Fathers created for the people. Let us extend their vision another 250 years.
